There are tasks you should do every day or every week. Some of the cleaning tasks are not so pleasant to do but try to have them done and you’ll be impressed with the results.

Every day

The kitchen sink is one of the germiest things in the room. Stains and other gunk are common for the sink. Depending on the material your sink is made of it requires different cleaning solutions. But it’s important to rinse it every time after you wash the dishes.

Try to wash the dishes after you use them, do not keep them in the sink for too long.

Wipe down often used kitchen surfaces such as the countertops or the stove top. This will take you a few minutes only, but it will remove dust and bacteria.

Vacuuming or sweeping the floor is another daily task to do. But don’t bother if you don’t have the time to sweep it every single day.

Take care for your wooden dining table. Use cleaning products specially made for wood.

Every week

Wipe down all other kitchen surfaces such as the fronts of cabinets and appliances.

Mop the floor. Use a slightly damp mop with water-soap solution to clean the floor.

Wash the dish rack and wipe the inside and outside of the garbage can.

Change sponges and wash towels regularly as moisture is a breeding ground for mildew and bacteria.

Scrub out sink and wipe down faucet.

Every month

Empty the refrigerator and wipe down the insides and the front. Wipe down its shelves.

Clean the oven and wash the oven racks.

Clean the microwave and other small kitchen appliances.

Wash the windows.
